I’M Zhouyang Lu
I'm a UI/UX and visual designer in Toronto with extensive experience in interface design, interaction design and front-end development. I am innovative and proactive in developing elegant, functional and ground-breaking website and app designs for the demand side. I possess project management capabilities, team leadership experience and independent problem-solving skills. I am also highly organized when multitasking, and I have expertise in arranging research for various products, enhancing artistic expression within a design and validating code. I am a logical and results-oriented designer, technically savvy and analytical when resolving issues.
UI/UX design lies at the intersection of my two backgrounds: visual design and digital development. Excessive creativity can greatly increase development costs, but I am able to control the balance between the two and bring customers a user-friendly experience and distinctive visual effects. I am committed to building and optimizing user-centric applications for customers with various business goals. I find it important to be smart and creative when crafting effective websites, apps and platforms to drive competitive advantage and revenue growth.
I am currently a UI/UX designer at Bybit. I graduated with a postgraduate degree in Digital Media Arts from York University, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction. In my spare time, I actively create pieces of artwork and exhibit them at DesignTO, FACTT, IEEE VIS and other major exhibitions. I also create digital artwork, which is published on Raible, and I have become an NFT creator.

EXPERIENCE
Completed multiple sets of design systems, user processes and interface designs for different product requirements. Communicated closely with the product department, helping product and design colleagues to conduct onboarding, and completed competitive product analysis and user analysis many times. Organized and planned workflows, led design reviews and delivered high-quality design documents to development teams. Sorted and cataloged all product and design documents, which assists in subsequent search and retrieval of design records, so anyone can quickly find and understand the files.
